The life of Frank Will

Frank William Boggs, known as Frank Wills, (1900 - 1950) was a French painter and watercolorist.

Born into a family of artists, he began painting as a child - mainly landscapes.

He befriended the painter Gen Paul, with whom he attended classes in Belleville and Ménilmontant.

Like the painter Constantin Korovine, he produced views of Paris, notably postcards depicting the capital's main monuments (Sacré Coeur, Opéra Garnier, Place Vendôme).

The artist works mainly in Montmartre, and divides his life between his activities as a musician, painter and watercolorist.

Neglecting his health, he died at the age of 50 in Paris.
