Gustave Miklos was a 20th-century Hungarian sculptor and painter, born on December 17, 1888 in Makó, Hungary, and died in 1967. His artistic career began in Budapest, where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts. He later moved to Paris in 1906, where he quickly became part of the city's dynamic art movement. Miklos is best known for his work in the Art Deco style, where he created sculptures and bas-reliefs characterized by clean lines, stylized geometric forms and floral motifs. He was also influenced by movements such as Cubism and Futurism. His work encompasses a wide variety of media, including sculpture, painting, drawing and medals. Miklos took part in many of the major exhibitions of his time, and was recognized for his remarkable artistic talent. His creations continue to be exhibited in museums and private collections around the world, testifying to his importance in the field of modern art.
