Ary Bitter (1883 - 1973) was a French animal sculptor.

Born in Marseille, he studied sculpture with Jules Coutan.

In 1921, he exhibited several works at the Salon des artistes français, where he won a silver medal.

The Fonds National d'Art Contemporain (FNAC) began to take an interest in his work in 1939, commissioning bronzes for a monumental fountain.

He also created the sculptures that now decorate Marseille's Saint Charles train station.
